Tadpole and his buddy Dollar Bill were abandoned after a house fire. The house had burned to the ground and the goats were left to fend for themselves. After several attempts to report the situation to authorities, nothing was done to help these two goats. They were alone with no food or water for almost two weeks. Until one day they were out running in the road. They had escaped! We decided that they made the decision to survive and get help for them selves. We loaded them up and brought them to the sanctuary. Once at the sanctuary, safe and with their bellies full We advertised that we had found these goats roaming, no one ever responded to claim them. So, today Tadpole and his Buddy Dollar Bill live happily here, roaming the fields, climbing the rocks, playing goat on the mountin on top of the Igloos. Tadpole is still unsure of people, and though he continues to let us get closer and closer to him, he still is in need of alot of patience and attempted affection. He and Dollar compete for goat and sheep friends by restling and crying at eachother. But, in the end they are recovering here and growing into happy goats!
